The maps are adopted for the 5 Board of Supervisors -- in effect for the next decade! Long hours in preparing the final report, final map, and rationale behind the map. My role as Executive Director of the LA County Citizens Redistricting Commission ends Dec. 31. We met our deadline under extreme challenges of Census delays, COVID-19, new technology, and review of 113 submitted maps, 600 oral testimonies, and 2,300 written comments in the last 2 months.

Bravo to the Commissioners for accomplishing this arduous task.
