My family helped me move most of my belongings to the Grayson County Justice Center today. These are pictures of my Courtroom, the Jury Room, and my office. We will put the finishing touches on tomorrow. I've got to say, it felt amazing to sit in this chair for the first time and look out over the courtroom. Thank you, Grayson County voters for the honor to serve as your County Court at Law #2 Judge. The Honorable Judge Carol Siebman will swear me in on Sunday, January 1st at 2PM at the Grayson County Courthouse West Courtroom. We want all to know that you are welcome to the Investiture Ceremony so we decided not to send formal invitations.

I recently spent several days attending the 2022 College for New Judges in Georgetown where I had the pleasure of meeting newly elected judges from around the state. Special thanks to my group discussion leader Judge Laura Weiser, Judicial Resource Liason, Texas Center for the Judiciary Senior Judge, Victoria County Court at Law No. 1. Thanks to her leadership, I feel well prepared for my investiture ceremony on January 1st.

The 88th Annual Denison Christmas Parade was a huge turnout despite the off again, on again misting throughout the parade. We saw (and heard) many supporters. Still trying to get used to people yelling, "Hey, Judge!" but it sure has a nice ring to it.

Liz did a mesquite smoked turkey, honey glazed ham, and too many sides to mention. It was, as always, an incredible meal. We are very thankful to have had all 3 kids, my mom, and my mother-in-law share this day with us. From my home to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
