Habitat for Humanity is excited to be a part of North Texas Giving Day again this year. Your North Texas Giving Day donations have helped fund new house construction and home repairs for Grayson County families for the last eight years.

"Hailstones the size of baseballs!" That was Pearl's description of a spring storm in Whitewright that destroyed her roof. But Pearl qualified for Habitat's Senior Roofing Program and now has a beautiful, sturdy roof. Qualifications: 65 years or older; own and live in your Grayson County home; have income that is less than 60% of area median income. Need a roof? Call the Habitat office at 903.893.0009. A dozen of First United Bank’s finest employees volunteered at the ReStore, Habitat for Humanity of Grayson County this week. They weeded beds and sowed pollinator-attractive seeds. Inside, they organized and decorated, getting ready for the ReStore’s 8th birthday party on Saturday, June 27. Join us at 3822 N Frisco Road, Sherman from 11 am - 1 pm for a free hamburger and hot dog lunch. Thanks, First United Bank, for all the ways you serve our community!

We say it all the time: Habitat for Humanity starts, builds, and completes homes only because of the generosity of our supportive community! Clair Jenkins received a signed Bible and the keys to her new home, presented by board member Kristina DuBois Franklin, during a special dedication ceremony, surrounded by friends, volunteers, family, donors, and supporters. She and her family will move in soon and begin making affordable mortgage payments. Thank you, thank you, friends!
