Some of the biggest building blocks for a child’s future can start with something as simple as a bedtime story. 📚💙

Early literacy begins long before a child steps into a classroom. From birth, reading together helps little ones hear new words, develop language skills, spark their imagination, and begin building a lifelong relationship with books.

And it doesn’t have to be complicated. A few pages before bed. The same favorite book for the hundredth time. Letting them point at the pictures while you name what they see. It all counts.

That’s one of the reasons we’re so passionate about Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and helping Grayson County families build home libraries from the very beginning.

Start from birth. Read every day. Raise a reader. 📖✨

As a new school year begins, we're celebrating a very special milestone. 💙📚

This week, many of our newest kindergarteners are walking into school for the very first time—including the recent graduates of our Tiny Toes program.

Families graduate Tiny Toes when their youngest child starts kindergarten, making this season both exciting and bittersweet for our team. We've watched these children grow from their earliest years into curious, confident learners, while walking alongside their parents every step of the way.

One of the biggest goals of Tiny Toes is to help children enter kindergarten ready to learn, ready to grow, and ready to thrive. While we'll miss seeing these families regularly, we know they're stepping into this next chapter with a strong foundation and bright futures ahead.

To all of our Tiny Toes graduates—and to every student, teacher, parent, and school staff member starting a new year—we're cheering you on. May this school year be filled with growth, friendships, confidence, and countless opportunities.
