🚗 Morning Drop-Off Reminder, Crutchfield Families! 🚗
Parents and guardians, please help us keep our morning arrival safe, smooth, and efficient for all of our Crutchfield Cougars!
⏰ School doors open at 7:15 AM.
🚙 Please use the designated single-line drop-off lane each morning. Our staff members will be outside and ready to open car doors, greet students, and assist them safely out of vehicles.
⚠️ The staff parking lot is NOT a student drop-off location. This area is designated for staff parking and visitor parking for those who need to park and walk a student into the building. Please do not use the parking lot as a second drop-off lane.
♿ Handicap parking spaces are NOT drop-off zones. Please do not use these spaces to drop off students. If you choose to park and walk your child into the building, you must park in an appropriate parking space and walk your child across the designated crosswalk.
🚸 Please use the crosswalks and follow all posted traffic signs. If you park to walk your child into the building, please make sure you use the designated crosswalk rather than having your child walk through active traffic lanes.
➡️ Please obey all “RIGHT TURN ONLY” signs when turning onto Dewey Ave. These signs are in place for everyone's safety—including our students, families, staff, and crossing guards—and help protect our crosswalks while keeping traffic moving safely and efficiently. Please do not make turns that go against the posted traffic pattern.
🚨 Using the parking lot or stopping in unauthorized areas for drop-off creates a safety and security concern, as students may have to walk across active lanes of traffic to reach the building. With cars entering, exiting, and moving through the area, we want to eliminate unnecessary risks for our students.
We know mornings can be busy, but following our established drop-off procedures helps us keep every student safe, protect our crosswalks, and keep traffic moving efficiently.
