Ongoing search
UPDATE (10:47pm): We are saddened to report that Ms. Windland has been located deceased. We extend our condolences to her family. We appreciate the assistance provided by TEXSAR and our community throughout this investigation. Additional information will be released when appropriate.
UPDATE (6:14pm): This remains an active investigation. Search teams from TEXSAR are now assisting our personnel. We appreciate the community's continued assistance in sharing this information.
UPDATE (2:44pm): Lisa Windland was last seen around Hwy 75 and Center Street, wearing a pink tank top and black pants. Lisa has shoulder length gray hair.

UPDATE (12:38pm): As our investigation has continued throughout the day, additional information has been developed, and Ms. Windland has now been entered as a Texas Silver Alert. We are actively investigating her disappearance and are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact us.
Welfare Concern
Sherman PD is looking for Lisa Windland. She is 69 years of age and was last seen on the 6th of July.
There is nothing that qualifies Ms. Windland as endangered. However, we want to locate her and ensure everything is okay.
