What We Do
The Grayson County Child Welfare Board supports children in protective services in many different ways. We provide clothing allowances, pay for extracurricular activities and help with other expenses that the Department does not cover. The CWB helps to bring awareness to abuse and advocates prevention programs of abuse during the month of April. In November it recognizes National Adoption Day by hosting a celebration for adopted children and their families. The CWB also helps to recruit, educate and support foster families as they are the front line handling the day to day needs of the children in care.
