🌟 Today’s Spotlight: Sherman Library
There’s no better way to celebrate National Book Day than by highlighting a place where books, ideas, and community come together every day.
Sherman Library is a vibrant community resource, freely available to all. With books at its core, the library serves as the community’s center for information, education, culture, and recreation—offering both print and digital materials for lifelong learning.
But the library is much more than books. It hosts an engaging lineup of programs throughout the year, including author talks, art openings, musical performances, craft classes, and featured speakers on a wide range of topics. These offerings are designed to engage, educate, and inspire, and are always free to the public.
The Sherman Library also features a welcoming art gallery, public-use computers, copy and fax services, and free Wi-Fi—making it a true gathering place for connection, creativity, and curiosity.
At the Expo, they’ll be bringing a fun button-making station for children, along with cookies for visitors—a simple, hands-on way to add a little extra joy to the day. 🎨🍪
💡 Whether you’re looking for your next great read, a place to learn something new, or simply a friendly face in the community, the Sherman Library is here to welcome you.
