Structure Fire Mutual Aid Response

This afternoon, The Stanley Hose Company was dispatched to provide mutual aid to North Lake Fire Department for a structure fire on Plank Road.

With Tanker-281 currently undergoing refurbishment, our pumper-tanker, Engine-282, responded to the scene to assist with water supply operations.

Numerous agencies worked together at the incident, including North Lake FD, Chautauqua County EMS, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, Rescue 7, County FAST Team, and the Stockton, Westfield, Portland, Maple Springs, Chautauqua, and Brocton Fire Departments.

Incidents like this highlight the importance of mutual aid and the strong partnerships that exist between our emergency service agencies. Working together allows us to provide the highest level of service and support to our communities when it is needed most.

The Stanley Hose Company Fire Department

At approximately 9:00 PM last evening, The Stanley Hose Company was dispatched to a motorcycle vs. deer accident on Mount Pleasant Road.

Responding to the scene were Ambulance 281, Rescue 282, Engine 282, and Miscellaneous 281. Other units on scene were Chautauqua County EMS Medic 72, County Fire 1, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, and the New York State Police.

One male patient sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UPMC Hamot by Ambulance 281 with Sherman EMS personnel and CCEMS Medic 72.

We would like to thank all of the emergency responders who assisted at the scene and worked together to provide prompt care and ensure the safety of everyone involved.

As a reminder, deer activity remains high throughout our area. Please use extra caution while traveling, especially during evening and nighttime hours.

The Stanley Hose Company was honored to participate in the Panama Central School Safety Day today. Members of local emergency services had the opportunity to speak with students about emergency response through hands-on demonstrations and interaction with fire and EMS apparatus.

The Stanley Hose Company brought Rescue 282 to the event, allowing students to explore the truck and learn more about the important role volunteer firefighters and EMTs play in protecting our communities.

A special thank you to Stanley Hose Company firefighter and EMT Braden Cook for taking Rescue 282 to the event and doing an outstanding job presenting to the students throughout the morning. We always appreciate opportunities like this to connect with area youth and help promote safety awareness.

The Stanley Hose Company took advantage of the beautiful weather last night and conducted our monthly meeting outside. It was a great evening of discussion and enjoying time together as members.

A big thank you to Assistant Chief Brett Cook and his lovely wife Sarah for hosting and opening up their home to our members. Your hospitality and generosity are truly appreciated!
