A huge thank you to Modern Woodmen of America and our generous community members for selecting Sherrard Public Library District as a recipient of the Do-Good Grant!

These wonderful library supporters went above and beyond by spending time in their neighborhood soliciting donations to add to the grant funds. Thanks to their efforts, Sherrard Library received frequently used supplies, program materials, and new materials for our children’s play area.

Sherrard Library hosts two monthly book clubs that are always accepting new members!

Afternoon Book Club meets the first Monday at 1:30 PM, Evening Book Club meets the third Monday at 5:30 PM.

Those seeking a drop-in, no registration required experience may order their own library copy and join us when you can!

Or, patrons who love attending each month and want membership perks, like hassle-free holds in your preferred format and extended check-outs, can speak with our front desk to be added to the Book Club automatic holds roster.

Those on the automatic holds list follow the Programming No Call policy for hold pick-up and meeting attendance to continue receiving membership perks.
