The City of Sherrill and Sherrill American Legion Post 230 are proud to invite the community to our 2026 Memorial Day Parade as we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation, while also celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America.
This year’s parade is shaping up to be the largest and most memorable in City history!
The City of Sherrill has partnered with Sherrill American Legion Post 230 to expand this year’s event and create a truly special community celebration. We are encouraging veterans, civic organizations, youth groups, businesses, community partners, and residents to join us in honoring our nation’s heroes and celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
The parade will feature:
Floats and community groups
The VVS Marching Band
The Camden Continentals Fife & Drum Corps
First responders and local departments
And much more!
Parade Details:
Monday, May 25, 2026 (Memorial Day)
9:00 a.m.
The public is encouraged to view the parade along Sherrill Road
between Hamilton Avenue and Sherrill City Hall.
The parade will conclude at City Hall / Veterans Park, where Sherrill American Legion Post 230 will host a brief Memorial Day ceremony honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Local activities are anticipated to conclude around 10:00 a.m.
