Shickshinny Volunteer Fire Department Shickshinny Volunteer Fire Department is a non profit organization providing fire and rescue services for the residents of Shickshinny and Union Twp.

Station 175 Luzerne County is always seeking new members from juniors(age 14 and up) to retirees . Experience is not necessary and in house training is available. Meeting nights are the second Monday of the month at the fire house at 6pm.

General information

Station 175 has one tanker, a 2005 Kenworth with 2000gal. capacity, one engine a 2002 International and a 2012 Ford F-550 light rescue. We utilize a 2002 Yamaha Rhino for brush fires and a Rescue 1 boat for water rescue and dive emergencies.
