Shiloh Police Department We are located in the Wilke Window and Door plaza on Lebanon Avenue, East of Greenmount Rd. They can be reached at 618-632-9047. For emergencies call 9-1-1.

Office hours for the Records Department are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. For non-emergency police response call 618-624-4545, Our dispatch center can be reached after hours via a call box at our front door.

A piece of equipment belonging to a person mowing yards was turned in to the police department yesterday. It unknowingly fell off of a trailer driving on Main Street in Shiloh. Response to Whiteside Middle School

On Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at approximately 8:19 AM, the Shiloh Police Department responded to Whiteside Middle School located at 111 Warrior Way in response to the school implementing a lockdown.

A student reported to middle school office personnel that they witnessed an individual with a possible weapon while they were coming to school. The school initiated a lockdown out of an abundance of caution and immediately contacted the police department. Officers from multiple agencies responded to the school and the surrounding area. No other reports were received in the area. Nothing was located that caused concern or that confirmed the report.

At this time, the middle school is in a soft lockdown and will have a police presence for the remainder of the day as a precaution.

Death Investigation

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at approximately 1:54 PM, the Shiloh Police Department responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Clairmont Drive. It was reported that a homeowner located a deceased adult female behind brush in the tree line on the edge of the property.

Officers arrived on scene and secured the area. Due to indications at the scene, it appeared the female had been deceased for an extended period of time. The St. Clair County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services responded to assist with the investigation.

There were no immediate signs of foul play located at the scene or during an autopsy held on April 2, 2026. A missing person report was filed on December 9, 2025 for a female that lives in the neighborhood. Through investigation the deceased has been positively identified as the missing person, Sahab Bashir, 30, of Shiloh.

The Shiloh Police Department would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. We will honor the family's wishes for privacy at this time.

Tonight we recognized two of our own at the Village of Shiloh Board Meeting. Detective Larry Wise was awarded the 2025 Officer of the Year. Sergeant Kyle Bade was recognized for reaching the milestone of 25 years of service to the Village of Shiloh. Thank you both for your service! We appreciate your efforts and we are lucky to have you both on our team!
