Hello, readers! My name is Rachael and I am the founder of the Half Moon Silent Book Club in Shiner. The original founder of the Shiner Little Free Library in Welhausen Park (Amanda Gibbs) moved away a couple of years ago. As of yesterday, with Amanda's blessing, Half Moon SBC will now sponsor this gift to the community!

We have filed for a charter as the original is no longer active. Saturday, we will clean the library (time TBA) and add additional children's books.

Thank you to Amanda for all of her hard work getting this library off the ground for our community and for entrusting us with its stewardship!

The top shelf is full of children’s books! Someone also dropped off some homemade bookmarks so help yourself to one.
