IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM!!

1) We will not have a program on Wednesday, July 1st.
2) The library is closed July 3rd-July 4th for the holiday.
3) The raffle foam party is Wednesday, July 8th, at 5:15 p.m. *for all registered youth*.
4) The *last* day to collect stickers/ raffles for reading is Wednesday, July 2nd, 5:15 p.m.
5) All filled-in raffles *must* be returned by Wednesday, July 8th, 5:15 p.m.

It was a full, very energetic house at Wednesday’s Summer Reading Program with the Magic of John O’Bryant! The kids always have a great time with John.

Thank you to Shiner Girl Scouts Troop 09508 for donating these three books at yesterday's Positivity Party, held at the library. All girls attending learned that they are stronger *together* through crafts, snacks, and bonding. We are so excited to keep this message alive by sharing these books with our community! Looking for a meaningful, fun, and empowering summer activity for your daughter? 💕

Three dedicated girls from Girl Scout Troop 9508 have been working hard to earn the prestigious Silver Award by creating something truly special for younger girls in our community. Their mission is centered around sisterhood, kindness, confidence, self-love, and teaching girls that their biggest cheerleader can be the girl standing beside them.

To complete their project, the girls are hosting a FREE Positivity Party for girls ages 4-10 at the Shiner Public Library on June 11th from 4:00-5:30 PM.

This event is designed to help young girls build confidence, make friends, express themselves creatively, and leave feeling encouraged and empowered. Girls attending will enjoy:
✨ Positive and uplifting activities
📚 Story time and books read by the girls
🎨 Fun art projects
🍿 Snacks and treats
💕 A chance to connect, laugh, and celebrate girl power together

Not only will your daughter have an amazing time, but by attending she will also help these three hardworking girls achieve their Silver Award goal and make a positive impact in the community.

The kids have been busy completing their crafts for the Summer Reading Program! So much creativity and crafting talent is on display at the circulation desk!

Each completed craft earns each child five stickers and five raffles. All displayed items will be donated to nursing home residents after the program has ended.
