We’d like to thank the City of Shinnston for helping us secure five new AEDs for our apparatus. These lifesaving devices were funded through the Opioid Settlement funds allocated to the City.

This investment directly supports our mission of providing the best possible care to our community and ensures our crews are better equipped to respond in critical moments

It’s never easy to make a post like this, but with heavy hearts we share the passing of our friend, brother, and former member Andrew Hardy.

Andrew started his fire service with the Spelter Volunteer Fire Department, later joined the Shinnston Fire Department, and went on to work with the Clarksburg Fire Department. Throughout the years, he was not only a dedicated firefighter but also a true friend and an important part of the communities he served.

Those of us who had the privilege of knowing Andrew will always remember his kindness, his commitment, and the brotherhood he shared with so many. He will be deeply missed

Your Shinnston Little League 11U All-Stars have just been crowned the West Virginia State Champions, after an incredible run through the losers bracket! These boys showed grit, heart, and determination every single game — and they brought that title home where it belongs! 💛💙

On the mound today, Ryder Spry was lights-out with 13 strikeouts, and Brody Hagan came in to shut the door and seal the win! 🔥⚾️

Now it’s time to celebrate OUR BOYS! 🎉

They’ll arrive back in Shinnston with a police es**rt & Company 10 leading the way.

🎉 Parade kicks off: around 5:30 PM

Line the streets of Shinnston, bring your signs, your cheers, and your hometown pride — and let’s show these boys just how proud we are of them and what they’ve accomplished! 🙌

📸✨ After the parade, head up to the Little League field to snap a photo with the State Champs and give them an extra pat on the back — they’ve earned it! Let’s make tonight a memory they’ll never forget! 🙌

Please join the Ten House in welcoming our new fire chief, Matt Bartlett! Chief Bartlett has spent many years dedicated to not only the Shinnston Volunteer Fire Department but the fire service as a whole. He was sworn in this past Monday night at the monthly membership meeting and all of us are looking forward to the ability and leadership he brings to the community. Welcome Chief 10!
