The Long Beach Island Elementary Grade School property is currently an active construction site. For the safety of the public and the construction crews working there, the grounds are closed to all unauthorized individuals at ALL times.

Atlantic City Electric is aware of local power outages. For residents without power, the Long Beach Township Municipal Court in Brant Beach and Zion Lutheran Church located in Barnegat Light are available as warming shelters.

A significant snowstorm is expected to impact Ship Bottom later today and overnight. Residents and visitors are reminded to remove all vehicles from roadways once snowfall begins so snow plows can safely and efficiently clear the streets.

-Vehicles left on the roadway may be ticketed or towed.
-Please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
