From the Friends of Joe DeStefano: What's happening in our state right now is a disgrace. Criminals and anarchists are free to run wild in the streets and vandalism is rampant, including the destruction of the statues of our greatest heros. Rioters scoff at the police as the weak politicians who gave us bail "reform" refuse to stand up to the mobs.
Instead of protecting the citizenry, the entrenched politicians want to defund the police and raise our taxes. People are abandoning our state in droves leaving the rest of us to pick up the tab and try to clean up the mess.
Let's All Step Up to the Plate and support a man who is not taking any of this lying down. Assemblyman Joe DeStefano has been a loud and consistent voice against the ridiculous new bail laws that put criminals back on the street immediately to commit more crimes. He fights the forces in Albany that raise our taxes and punish the suburbs and he champions the working men and women of Suffolk.
