FMC Devens is an administrative security federal prison located in Ayer/Devens. Opened in 1999, FMC Devens houses approximately 1,200 male federal inmates. The Federal Medical Center (FMC) Devens is one of 121 institutions in the Bureau of Prison. FMC Devens is a secure prison facility that houses inmates of all security levels (minimum –maximum). FMC Devens is one of six federal prisons with the primary mission of housing inmates who require specialized or long term medical and mental health care.

Held twice per year (March & November), in partnership with state Rep. Sheila Harrington, Rep. Jen Benson, and the North Central Career Center/ One-Stop Career Center of North Central Massachusetts. The job fairs provide local job seekers the opportunity to meet with over 75 local companies, looking to fill over 300 positions.

Whether you recently lost your job, left your job, or are just looking for a better position, job seekers are encouraged to connect with the team at the North Central Career Centers to learn more about conducting an effective job search.
