As a reminder, there are 2 upcoming State Elections, (1) State Primary Election on September 1, 2026 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Town Office Building, and (2) State Election on November 3, 2026, same times and location. For each election, you will be able to vote in person on Election Day, vote in person during an Early Voting period, or Vote by Mail with a ballot mailed to you. As a heads up, the State Elections Division will be sending out a pre-addressed, postage pre-paid Vote by Mail application to every registered voter sometime in mid-July. This mailing is required by state law. You can use this application to request a ballot to be mailed to you for the September 1, 2026 State Primary Election, and/or the November 3, 2026 State Election. If you wish a ballot to be mailed to you for one or both of those elections, simply mark your selections on this application, sign the application, and drop it in the mail (or drop off at Town Office Building) and it will come to me as Town Clerk. I will then mail you out a ballot when ballots are available, normally about 30 days prior to Election Day. Please note that you will want to mail this postcard out to me ONLY IF you want a vote by mail ballot sent to you for the upcoming election(s). If you want to vote in person on Election Day or vote in person during the Early Voting timeframe (August 22 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or August 24-27 9 a.m. to noon for the State Primary Election), DO NOT mail the postcard back to me since you will be getting the ballot when you come to Town Offices to vote. Any questions, please contact me by phone at 978-425-2600 X1 or by e-mail at [email protected].
