Today we start celebrating Grinchmas a time to spread kindness by "growing" our ❤️ hearts three sizes with small acts or gestures of kindness. As a fun way to kick off the season when you see our Grinch representative (pictured) you can request a pack of Pokémon cards to enjoy or gift to another. TODAY ONLY - Merry Grinchmas!!!

Our school supply drive ends on Friday, August 15. Any supplies we receive will be given out at our School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, August 16 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at our Mastic Beach Branch (while supplies last).

Are you looking for a summer job? Come work for Suffolk County Parks! Our informal poll at the Hampton Bays High School Job Fair yesterday taught us that summer workers are looking for flexible hours and great coworkers- We have both!!

The Parks department hires over 400 seasonal employees to work in our campgrounds, parks and beaches. Park Attendants perform a variety of tasks including maintenance, office work, as well as registrations and fee collections at the entrance booths. Park Attendants must be at least 16 years of age, and willing to work weekends and holidays, early and evening shifts. The main qualification for all positions is the ability to work well with the public.
