Your Community Library has grown from a vision shared by a handful of residents in the early 70s to one of the largest, busiest, and best-used libraries on Long Island, serving nearly 1,000 people every day. JANUARY 1, 2025 – NEW YEAR’S DAY

If you'd like to be entered into this raffle please raise your hand in the comments 🙋‍♀️. A winner will be chosen at random by June 12. Hey, Trekkies! We have four tickets to Trek Long Island to give away to a lucky patron! This is Long Island's annual fan-run convention celebrating Star Trek and takes place from June 12-14, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge. The passes are for all three days. If you'd like to be entered into this raffle please raise your hand in the comments 🙋‍♀️. A winner will be chosen at random by June 1. Creativity and history came together in this program! Kids learned about American patriotic symbols, explored what they represent, and then put their ideas into action by designing their very own patriotic buttons. They also got hands-on experience learning how to use a real button maker to turn their artwork into wearable creations!
