SHIRO V.F.D. The Shiro Volunteer Fire Dept. (Shiro VFD) serves communities of Shiro, Roans Prairie, and Singleton. This is a 77.5 sq mile fire district.

We are also mutual aid to Walker Co. We proudly serve these agencies. Help support your local Fire Department.

We appreciate Chief Smith and the S O for organizing this valuable training and were proud to participate. The majority of our firefighters have now been through this training. The bonds we create and the teamwork we train for is invaluable. We pray we never have to use this training for real, but we stand ready with our Law, EMS, and Fire partners.
