Hair and nail day is always a favorite at Twin Cedar!

We have a Salon on site and our wonderful hairstylist, Sheri, visits once a month to help our residents look and feel their best. And every Monday, our Activities Director, Katie, treats the ladies to a little extra pampering with fresh manicures. It’s more than just beauty care; it’s a time for conversation, confidence, and lots of smiles!

We were honored to participate in the America 250 Liberty Bell Project, a community outreach initiative celebrating America’s 250th birthday while bringing residents together through creativity, patriotism, and shared memories. This project gave our residents the opportunity to express what America means to them and to be part of something special that will be displayed throughout the community. 🇺🇸🔔

Our residents chose to decorate the Liberty Bell like the American flag, using their fingerprints as the stars to make it uniquely personal and meaningful. Each fingerprint represents the individuals, stories, and generations that helped shape our country — a beautiful reminder that every person leaves their mark on America’s story. 🇺🇸♥️

This afternoon at Twin Cedar, our residents worked together on puzzles! A fun activity that keeps the mind sharp, strengthens hand-eye coordination, and brings friends together one piece at a time. 🧩

This morning at Twin Cedar, our residents brought their competitive spirit to the floor for a lively game of Beach Ball Hockey! Using pool noodles and a colorful beach ball, everyone had a blast cheering each other on, sharing laughs, and getting in some great exercise.

Activities like this are a fun way to promote movement, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. There may have been some fierce competition, but the real winners were the friendships and memories made along the way!

A new year begins and we’re stepping into it together.

At Culture Care Senior Living, a new year isn’t about resolutions or trends. It’s about people. It’s about the residents who trust us with their stories, the families who invite us into their lives, and the team members who show up every day with compassion, patience, and heart.

2025 reminded us that the smallest moments often matter the most. A shared laugh, a familiar song, a hand held a little longer, a room filled with connection. Those moments are the reason we do what we do.

As we welcome 2026, our focus remains the same. To keep showing up with purpose. To keep growing together. To keep creating spaces where seniors feel valued, heard, and truly at home.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re grateful to walk into this new year with all of you.
