The Platt Memorial Library is over 100 years old, but we are a very active portal to the world. The past 10 years have seen the programs and materials offered by the Platt Memorial Library expand greatly. Here's the balloon on its 2nd birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YELLOW BALLOON!
2 years ago a yellow balloon stayed behind after a birthday party. It floated around the library and kept us company during the early days of the pandemic. Then we were astounded to see that it was still inflated (though much diminished) month after month. It has a special place behind the desk now-- feel free to come by and wish the Yellow Balloon a happy birthday now that it's 2 years old.

I always seem to miss it, but Happy Birthday to the oldest yellow balloon! The balloon is 6 years old now! 😍🎈
