Come see Shoreview's newest piece of public art. This 50 foot long mural is in the pedestrian tunnel that connects the Shoreview Community Center to Snail Lake under Highway 96. So proud that the Shoreview Community Foundation (flexing that I'm on the board and chair the Grants Committee) and Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District were funding partners for this investment in public art. Thanks also to the Shoreview Bike and Trails Committee and Gallery 96 for spearheading this beautiful project.

At the last minute this morning, I accepted an invitation from Roseville Superintendent Loeck to hear the district's faculty and staff workshop keynote speaker, Dr Gloria Ladson-Billings. She spoke truth to power about how it's every adults' responsibility to help ALL students succeed in our school system. So proud to have Roseville Area Schools serve our Shoreview families. Wishing ALL a great start to the school year!

A wonderful evening at Snail Lake Park for the Shoreview-Arden Hills Rotary's Taste of Hops and Vines fundraiser. I won/bought a cool cat-shaped bottle of Reisling w**e and 4 tickets to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater at the silent auction. Generous people on a picture perfect MN evening building community and raising money for a good cause.

What perfect weather for our annual neighborhood Nite to Unite gatherings. Shoreview had 68 block parties this evening. I was wingman to snow plow driver extraordinaire Bill, and we visited 6 parties in northern Shoreview by Shamrock Park. It was great to see neighbors check in on each other as well as sharing their questions, concerns, joy and gratitude. Thanks for making Shoreview a great place to call home.

So wonderful to see everyone at the Slice of Shoreview parade. Beautiful day to celebrate Shoreview, our residents, businesses, and community groups. Still going on today at Island Lake Park, so come join the fun.

Ramsey County, Minnesota will be giving away food scrap collection containers at the Ramsey County Environmental Center on:
🍏 Saturday, July 11, 12-4 p.m.
🍏 Thursday, July 30, 12-4 p.m.
🍏 Saturday, August 8, 12-4 p.m.

Each Ramsey County household may receive one free food scrap collection container. Available while supplies last.

Find the Food Scraps Pickup Program table outside the Environmental Center entrance or in the community room. Staff will be available to help residents sign up for the Food Scraps Pickup Program and answer questions.

It’s official—I filed today for re-election to the Shoreview City Council!

​Serving this incredible community has been an absolute honor, and honestly, a ton of fun. From working on parks and trails to chatting with so many of you at community events, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
​But the work isn’t done yet, and I’m just as energized today as I was the very first time I ran. I want to keep listening, keep collaborating, and keep making Shoreview the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

​Let’s keep the momentum going! I would be honored to earn your support and your vote. ​Stay tuned for ways to get involved, campaign updates, and (of course) plenty of lawn signs.

Come check out our new fire station where our first responders will not get stuck behind a train and will better serve their training needs. Cheers to Lake Jo FD for the lifesaving work they provide to us day in and day out.

We have moved into our new Headquarters Station 110.

We will have an Grand Opening on Wednesday, July 29th at 2pm.
