During EMS week, we would like to acknowledge our brothers and sisters in EMS who on a daily basis put themselves in harms way to save countless lives across our great nation. While often forgotten and under appreciated, they willingly do it anyway in the service of others. Their selfless service and dedication deserves our recognition always.

It was our honor for the Shoshoni Police Department to help es**rt the Tree of Life memorial convoy in recognition of the 37 EMS professionals who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of others. No greater sacrifice than giving your life to save another’s, we pray for your families and all of the lives you’ve saved. The 37 heroes lost and represented by the Tree of Life have our eternal gratitude.

• Verify court matters directly through official court contacts
• Report suspicious activity to local law enforcement

Scammers often use official-looking logos, court names, and urgent language to appear legitimate. If you receive a notice like this and are unsure, contact the appropriate agency directly using publicly listed phone numbers or websites.

******🚨******Gas Leak******🚨*******

At 13:32 a gas leak was reported in the 100 Block W 5th St in the alley. There is currently no danger to the public. Fire is on scene and the road is currently closed while repairs are underway.

**************IMMEDIATE RELEASE**************

At approximately 0218 hours Fremont County Dispatch was advised of a structure fire in the 400 Block of Wyoming St. Shoshoni Fire responded to 206 E 4th St and requested additional resources. Missouri Valley and additional brigades responded and the fire was contained to the single property.

The residence was unoccupied and no injuries have been reported at this time. Cause is unknown and further information will be released at a later time.

We would like to express our gratitude to Fremont County Fire on their response and work to contain the fire protecting surrounding Shoshoni property and citizens.

Found by a traveler between Riverton and Shoshoni near Campbell’s Corner. He is well trained and has a blue collar with no tags. Anyone with information for the owner please contact the Shoshoni Police Department 307-876-2600 or Fremont County Dispatch 1 (800) 967-2302.
