Caddo Parish 1st Judicial District Attorney James E. Stewart, Sr. and Bossier/Webster Parish 26th Judicial District Attorney Schuyler Marvin walk toward the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge carrying with them the concerns, hopes, and priorities of the people they serve across Caddo, Bossier, and Webster Parishes.

Caddo Parish District Attorney James E. Stewart Sr. was honored to share remarks during the National Day of Prayer Service held on May 7, 2026, at Peaceful Rest Baptist Church in Shreveport.

The evening brought faith leaders, community members, and public servants together in prayer, unity, and hope for our community, state, and nation.

The service was sponsored by the Baptist Missionary & Educational State Convention of Louisiana, Inc., Dr. E. Edward Jones Baptist Ministers Fellowship Conference of Shreveport & Vicinity, and the Thirteenth District Missionary Baptist Association.
