As folks get busy and travel increases, we see a jump in litter around our parish. Once again, thanks to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office for helping us out.

Let's all chip in to be mindful about securing our trash while traveling to designated dumpsites. Please use trashcans and encourage others to keep our beautiful parish looking its best.

Sheriff Jayson Richardson is proud to announce a new and improved joint effort between the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office and the DeSoto Parish Police Jury. We are now running a FULL TIME Litter Abatement Crew in an effort to clean up the roadways here in DeSoto Parish! State grant funding through the Keep Louisiana Beautiful program has now allowed for crews to be out and about, actively picking up trash along our roadways across the parish. You will see them out in various locations starting immediately, in an effort to KEEP DESOTO BEAUTIFUL!
