Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation is looking for volunteer Camp Hosts to help create a welcoming experience for campers while enjoying an extended stay at the beautiful Earl G. Williamson Park! Camp Hosts receive a designated campsite and utilities in exchange for assisting with day-to-day campground operations.

This meeting will consist of a presentation on the project, as well as the opportunity to ask questions--so we ask you to come and bring all of your questions!

🏆 2026 Earl G. Williamson Classic Disc Golf Tournament Winners 🥏

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation hosted the 2026 Earl G. Williamson Classic Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Earl G. Williamson Park.

With 46 participants competing on the Caddo Parish 9-hole Disc Golf Course, it was a great day of competition, sportsmanship, and fun for disc golf enthusiasts.

This marks the third year Caddo Parish has hosted the tournament with Kevin Pelton, continuing a growing tradition of bringing the disc golf community together at Earl G. Williamson Park.

Congratulations to all of this year’s participants and, especially, our 2026 tournament winners! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the 2026 Earl G. Williamson Classic a success!

REMINDER: the Caddo Parish Commission will hold the first of several meetings designed to provide information about the proposed sports complex on the November 3 ballot on Friday, August 28 at 1:30 pm at the Walter B. Jacobs Event Center.

The meeting will also be livestreamed on the Parish's page and on YouTube, and available for playback.
