Pioneer Day - LSUS Pioneer Day - Location is the LSUS Pioneer Heritage Center. Cost is $5 for adults any student kindergarten through college gets in free.

LSUS employees free of charge. Come see folklife demonstrations and living historians and learn about Northwest Louisiana.

Pioneer Heritage director Marty Young will be doing a short presentation at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History Museum in Natchitoches tomorrow. 12:15p to 12:45p. The "Lunch Time Lagniappe" presentation will be on the Pioneer Heritage Center. Come down and join us.

We are 1 week out for Pioneer Day. Saturday, October 12, 2024, 10a-3p. As usual, teacher friends, I ask you to encourage your students to attend. Students get in free. Maybe offer a little bonus. Students can find me and get a signed card for proof they attend. They can ask around. Someone will point me out.
