From my perspective as a gospel preacher and longtime pastor, Christian Parents must in order prepare their children in

(1) reverence for God Creator of all things

(2) teach the Bible essentials (most do so by connecting with a good teaching church)

(3) demonstrate and teach them how to pray

(4) teach them how to become a solid citizen

(5) help them grasp physiological changes in their bodies

(7) continuously evaluate how well they are adapting and learning for the adult world; career, marriage, and family
