The Burnt Offerings Missions Fundraiser at Asbury Methodist is one of our FAVORITE events every year! 🔥🍽️

Great food. Great people. And a really great reason to eat.

A portion of the proceeds from Burnt Offerings comes directly to The Hub, helping us make sure our friends experiencing hunger have access to good food and the resources they need.

And this year, there are TWO ways you can be part of it:

We had the BEST week with this crew from Georgia and Tennessee!

They came to Shreveport through our partners at , jumped right in loving on the folks we serve and had a whole lot of fun while doing it!

Mission teams like this remind us how special it is when people choose to use their time to show up for a city that isn't even their own.

Thank you for serving, laughing, sweating, loving people, getting arrested 👀 (long story) and becoming part of The Hub family for the week.

We loved having you here and we hope you go home looking for ways to keep showing up for the vulnerable in your own cities! ❤️

Around The Hub, we believe everyone has something to give.

Sometimes it's a meal.
Sometimes it's a few hours.
Sometimes it's a listening ear.
And sometimes it's a little set of hands carrying a plate. ❤️

Restoration was never meant to be one group of people helping another group of people.

It's all of us, serving each other. Learning from each other. Growing together.

You don't have to be an expert. You don't have to have a lot. You just have to be willing to show up!

We've got the BEST people! ❤️We got to turn the tables and serve some of the people who are always serving alongside us....

We got to turn the tables and serve some of the people who are always serving alongside us. We hosted a thank-you lunch for our business, church, and community partners and some of our incredible volunteers. Just a small way to say:

We see you.
We appreciate you.
We love you.
And we absolutely could not do this without you!

Restoration takes a community, and we're pretty convinced we've got the best one around! Thanks for being part of The Hub family and of course... Thanks for playing BINGO with us. ❤️

☕️ We've got TWO new names you'll start seeing on your Rise Up & Roast orders!

Welcome "B" and "K" to the team!

Both ladies are part of the Purchased program AND are now officially employees of Rise Up & Roast. Learning job skills, earning a paycheck, and working toward some pretty big dreams!

We asked what they want to be when they grow up:

"B" said a paralegal.
"K" said an IT technician.

And for right now? They're helping make sure your coffee is packed, labeled, and ready to head out the door.

Pretty soon, you'll start seeing their names on the bags and boxes they hand pack just for you. ❤️ When you shop Rise Up & Roast, you're buying more than great coffee. You're creating jobs. You're building life skills. And you're helping women take real steps toward the futures they're dreaming about.

Mobile Market Day! 🍎🥬🍅

Once a month, our friends at Shreveport Green bring their Mobile Market to The Lovewell, giving members access to fresh produce that they can purchase with the points they've earned.

And we LOVE this!

When we say "access to resources" is a core part of restoration, we don't mean access to whatever is left over.

We want GOOD things for our friends.

Fresh food. Healthy choices. Quality resources. And the dignity of getting to choose what they want for themselves.

Because everyone deserves access to the good stuff. ❤️
