🚍THE GATEWAY IS OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR SERVICE!

Today marks the official first day of SporTran operations from The Gateway Hub, opening a new chapter for public transportation in the West Shreveport area!

Gateway Hub means more coverage, more connections and more possibilities - giving riders another convenient connection to the places that MOVE everyday life: work, shopping, school, healthcare, family and beyond.

🚌 Now operating from Gateway Hub:

* Route 24 — Walker/Pines Road
* Route 25 — Pines Rd./W. Bert Kouns
* Fairgrounds/Lakeshore Loop
* Lakeshore/Fairgrounds Loop

SporTran's new and improved routes are LIVE.. Creating better connections and helping YOU MOVE better in Shreveport-Bossier!

The Gateway officially starts bus transport services on Tuesday, Sept 8 and brings a new chapter of access, connection and opportunity to Shreveport-Bossier!

More than a transfer point, the Gateway Hub is opening doors to jobs, healthcare, education, shopping and destinations throughout our community!

🚌 LABOR DAY SERVICE NOTICE
SporTran bus service will be suspended Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. SporTran administrative offices will also be closed September 7.

Bus service will resume and administrative offices will reopen Tuesday, September 8.

With summer sunshine, community pride and a shared vision for greater mobility, we officially celebrated the grand opening of the SporTran Gateway Hub!

This milestone establishes a new gateway to jobs, education, healthcare, air travel and essential destinations throughout Shreveport-Bossier—while placing District F at the center of connection and progress!

Thank you to Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux, SHV Airport Director Larry Blackwell, Shreveport City Councilwoman Chair, Tabatha Taylor, District F City Councilman, James Green, city council members and elected city officials, Cochran Construction, Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, community partners and neighbors who joined us to open the doors to what’s next!
