Tonight we were able to train along side members of our fire department on our fire rehab trailer. With donations from the community we were able to purchase supplies to be used for fires we need respond to and other events around town in the summer time. This trailer will be used for rehab, to keep help our fireman cool during their rehab time. We purchased a portable evaporator to help keep the tent cool, a generator to be able to run fans and blow up the tent, table,chairs and many other thing to keep our fireman safe during their recovery time. We will also be able to use it for the 4th of July this year if the temperatures are high again for a cool space for people to go to if needed.

Blain Nolte and Katherine Chase from the Sons of American Legion squadron 105 and Shullsburg Rescue Squad presented first aid trauma kits to Mike Raso at the Shullsburg School District. This donation equips the school to handle potential emergencies effectively. The kits are traveler-friendly and include essential first aid supplies like gloves, bandages, and gauze, as well as more advanced supplies such as trauma dressings. Thanks to this generous donation, the school is now well-prepared to address any first aid needs that may arise.

We are excited to see everyone one tomorrow! We will have a soda/beer bar upstairs as well as downstairs. Euchre decks, cards and dice. Silent auction will be upstairs-do not need to be present to win-see you all at 6! Meatplow starts at 7 downstairs.

We are four days away from our annual Valentine’s Day Dance. Refreshments will include chili, cookies, and cheese trays. Refreshments,card games and dice will be available upstairs for your enjoyment, as well as our silent auction items. Meatplow starts at 7 downstairs. Can’t wait to see everyone!

Exciting News Announcement!!!
We will be hosting an EMT1 class in Shullsburg starting in January. This class will be taught by SWTC. If you successfully pass this class you will be able to obtain your EMR License (first responder) and help support our squad!

Classes will be virtual Monday nights and in-person Wednesday nights. More specific details will follow as we get closer.

Are you willing to join the others who have already verbally committed to this class? Having the class local is a great opportunity to join. The community needs your help!

We wanted to take the time to thank the Lafayette County Sheriffs Dept for all of the hard work and dedication they provide to our local community. Over the next few days we will be providing all shifts with a Subway platter to show our appreciation.
