Spring cleanup at Mt. Hope Cemetery will take place on March 21st.

If you have a grave blanket, flowers, or any decorations you would like to keep, please make sure to retrieve them before this date, as all remaining items will be removed during the cleanup.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep the cemetery looking its best for the season.

📢 NOW ACCEPTING BIDS – 2026 CEMETERY MOWING 🌿

Sidney Township is now accepting bids for cemetery mowing and grounds maintenance at Lynn Grove Cemetery for the 2026 mowing season.

🗓 Bid Deadline:
March 10, 2026 by 5:00 PM

🔹 This is a contract bid per season (not per mowing)
🔹 Grounds must be mowed on an as-needed basis
🔹 Trimming around all stones and blowing off stones after mowing is required
🔹 Proof of insurance is required with Sidney Township listed as certificate holder

With 2-3” of rain forecasted for tonight and snow tomorrow travel could be treacherous ! With the ground still frozen and most ditches are full from the melting snow we will see more standing water on roads than usual.

The Road Crew just tried opening up some roads, the wind is still to strong to make any progress at this time.

Once the wind lays down we will get back out there and get things back open again. Thank you for your patience and be safe !

Someone dumped a load of shingles at the intersection of 2000 and 800 . If you have any information on who might have lost their garbage let us know !

Sidney Township has taken possession of the abandoned property located at 2141 Cr 1000 N in Sidney Township. The Township has installed gates to stop the illegal dumping and clean up will begin soon.

March 18th will be clean up day at Mt Hope Cemetery .

If something is on the stone itself or on the base of the stone it will not be removed . If it's in the grass it will be removed and disposed of .

If you have anything that you would like to keep please make arrangements to remove it by March 17th .
