Our Aktion Club participated in Tab‑A‑PULL‑Ooza at the 2nd Street Market in Dayton supporting the Ronald McDonald House!

We collected nearly 69 lbs of pop tabs this year. While we didn’t make the Leaderboard, we’re excited to try again next year.

Seeing how the pop tabs are collected and used to support families made a big impact—it inspired us to collect even more for 2027💛

As the school year winds down we would like to congratulate our final Outstanding Teen for the year, Miss Ashley Gehret from Anna High School. Ashley is first in her class, President of 3 different clubs (NHS, FCCLA, Student Council), and has a servant's heart. She describes herself as diligent, having never shied away from doing something she cared about because she was ''too busy." She enjoyed serving meals at the soup kitchen and being a mentor in the DARE program. Ashley's future plans include attending Wright State to major in nursing.

Thanks to the Sidney High School Key Club for inviting us to their final meeting of the school year. We enjoyed ice cream and cookies and hearing about all their wonderful projects. Key Club is the largest club at Sidney High School. The 88 members participated in more than 50 events completing 2138 service hours this year. We are very proud of these young women and men!

Make way for the incredible Hailey Dietz, our Outstanding Teen from Sidney High School. Hailey is the secretary of the Key Club and has spent many hours volunteering at Amos Memorial Public Library, Morgan's Place cemetery, Shelby County Board of DD, the YMCA and more. She is a FOUR sport athlete (cross country, tennis, swim, track) and is most proud of running a Disney Marathon. She is genuine, kind, and the reigning Prom Queen. We are so proud of how she represents the servant leadership values of Kiwanis and Key Club. Hailey's future plan is to attend Bowling Green State University to study math education. Way to go, Hailey!
