Living Memorial Gardens

Living Memorial Gardens LMG is a non-profit organization featuring flower beds tended by local volunteers.

Living Memorial Gardens, a beautifully landscaped garden within Legion Park, was thoughtfully created by repurposing the site of Sidneyโ€™s old municipal swimming pool.

We have a new Moon gate at the Living Memorial Gardens!

We are WOW'ed and thrilled with this new addition to the gardens!

A huge, huge thank you to Sidney High Schools' Randy Woodis, (the Welding Class instructor), and the Beginning and Advanced Welding class students. They completely surprised us with this outstandingly beautiful piece of functional artwork.

The moon gate was a BIG WISH feature for the gardens for photo opportunities for weddings, senior photos, family gatherings and other events. From the simple idea we shared with Randy Woodis, through his guidance and instruction the students designed, constructed, and installed the moon gate in the gardens.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Randy Woodis and his students for donating their time, expertise, and the materials for this project. The new moon gate in the Living Memorial Gardens will be enjoyed for many years to come.

We invite the community to come to the gardens and see our new Moon Gate!
