Bring your current knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, or other creative project and enjoy a relaxing evening of crafting and conversation. Whether you're finishing a project or just getting started, this is the perfect place to create, connect, and be inspired.

🧠 Sensory Play

Designed for neurodivergent children ages birth–11, Sensory Play offers a calm, welcoming environment before the Library opens to the public. Explore sensory-friendly activities and enjoy the Library with fewer crowds and less noise.

📚 We’re excited to bring these beloved programs back to our renovated building at 440 W Sierra Madre Blvd. and to continue a summer filled with opportunities to read, discover, and connect.

It is with profound appreciation that we express our gratitude for our many City colleagues and community partners who have supported the Library Meaningful Improvement Project. We have finally reopened and feel fortunate to be part of a community that advocates for the Library’s programs and services. This support has been critical to achieving our beautiful, renovated building. We look forward to continuing partnerships with these organizations. Baby Rhyme Time and Preschool Storytime are back!

Baby Rhyme Time - Birth to 2 years old - Mondays at 9:00 am for stories and songs.

Preschool Storytime - 3 to 5 years old - Mondays at 10:00 am where children can engage with stories, songs, and crafts.

Participate in the Library’s first ever jigsaw puzzle competition during the Grand Reopening on June 6! Compete to see who can complete the same puzzle first. First and second place winners will go home with a prize!

The Library will hold three rounds of competitions:
Kids Competition, ages 5-9 from 2:30 – 3:15pm
Teens Competition, ages 10-17 from 3:15 – 4pm
Adults Teams Competition, up to 4 adults on a team from 4 – 5pm

Have a puzzle at home that you’ve already completed? Bring it to participate in a puzzle swap during our puzzle competition! Bring a puzzle you no longer want any more to swap at our Puzzle Swap Table. Puzzles must be in good condition in their original box.
