We heard you, Sierra Madre!

To make our Community Police Academy more accessible for residents, we are moving the program to Fall 2026.

We look forward to giving more community members the opportunity to go behind the scenes, meet the officers who serve our city, and learn what it takes to wear the badge.

Stay tuned for more information! πŸš”

Tonight, the U.S. military will be conducting a training exercise in northeast Pasadena through 1:00 a.m. Residents may hear limited helicopter activity, controlled explosions, and simulated weapons fire during the exercise.

This is a planned military training operation and is not open to the public or media. We appreciate your understanding and encourage community members not to be alarmed by the increased activity in the area.

This Military Appreciation Month, we proudly recognize two members of our SMPD family who answered the call to serve our nation before serving our community. Officer Zelaya served in both the U.S. Navy and Army Reserves, and Officer Adams proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

We are grateful for their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to serviceβ€”both in uniform and behind the badge. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve our country πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
