Cochise Family Advocacy Center - Lori's Place

Cochise Family Advocacy Center - Lori's Place To Rise From Victim to Survivor Services include a coordinated interview of child abuse victims in safe, child-friendly surroundings.

This process avoids the need for multiple interviews, reduces the trauma of disclosure, and preserves evidence and statements to enhance offender prosecution and conviction. Cochise Family Advocacy Center, Inc. provides crisis intervention and support for victims and non-offending family members, information regarding next steps, referrals to and information about different agencies involved and h

ow they may affect the family, access to higher levels of care, and regular multidisciplinary reviews of cases to assure that services provided align with best practices. This beginning achieves our mission to compassionately support and promote the well-being of children and adults through comprehensive services in a neutral, friendly environment. Our service area covers Cochise County, Graham County, and Greenlee County.

This Su***de Prevention Month, we want you to know that compassionate connection can make a meaningful difference.

Survivors of violence and abuse may face complex mental health challenges, and every person’s experience is different. Listening without judgment, staying connected, and encouraging qualified support can help someone feel less alone.

At Lori’s Place, we provide free advocacy, peer support, safety planning, and referrals for survivors and families.

If someone is in imminent danger, call 911. For non-immediate support, reach out to a trusted professional or an appropriate crisis resource. You do not have to carry difficult moments alone.

Supporting Lori’s Place, is about more than making a gift. It is a meaningful way to stand with survivors and families.

There are several ways to help sustain our trauma-informed, free advocacy services:

🟢 One-time donations provide flexible support that can be directed where it is needed most, from evidence collection and victim advocacy to survivor resources and care coordination.

🟢 Monthly giving creates dependable support that helps us plan ahead and remain focused on providing a safe, compassionate place for healing and justice.

Every gift helps us provide compassionate support for individuals and families affected by child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

As kids return to school and jump into a new sports season, it’s important for all of us to stay informed and aware of the warning signs of grooming. Protecting the children in our community starts with education, awareness, and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right. We encourage families, coaches, and community members to take time to learn the signs and help create safe spaces for every child.

As we head into August, taking intentional time to “fill your cup” each day is one of the most powerful forms of proactive self‑care. When life feels busy, unpredictable, or demanding, small moments of nourishment help keep your mind and body grounded. A few minutes of rest, connection, movement, or quiet can prevent overwhelm from building and protect you from burnout.

You deserve routines that support you, not just responsibilities that drain you. Making space for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s how you stay well enough to show up for everything else 💜
