Here is a email that was sent out from Major Hoff. For our Cadets at encampment.
Greetings!

Please excuse me if you receive this email more than once, I've included a number of mailing lists to ensure the widest possible dissemination.

We have 117 very tired, but accomplished cadets marching towards graduation on 1 July 2017 at 1100 hours at the Barnes Field House located here at Fort Huachuca. Google appears to have problems with addresses on the base, so here is a link that should take you to the parking lot of the field house:

https://www.google.com/maps/ place/31%C2%B033'45.0%22N+110% C2%B021'00.1%22W/@31.5624941,- 110.3505722,163m/data=!3m2! 1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2! 3d31.562493!4d-110.350025

Turn by turn instructions are to come south on Highway 90 from I-10. You'll pass the Sierra Vista airport on your right. A few miles after that you'll hit a stoplight, take a right. This is the Van Deman gate for the Army Base, which is the main entrance.

After getting through the gate, you're on Hatfield Rd. The road will curve around to the right a bit. Take a right at Cibecue St. You'll see the football field to your left. Take a left on Cushing St, then a left into the main large parking lot for the field house.

There's a bit of dirt to travel across from the parking lot to the field house. I'm not aware of any handicapped parking in the immediate area, but there might be some space on the west side of the field (you have to get through a couple of parking lots to get there).

The bleachers are not covered and there is very minimal shade in the area. We'll do our best to keep graduation moving along.

After graduation, parents and guests are welcome to pick up their cadet at the Nealis Dormitory which is just across the street from the field, on the west side. If you're a fan of Google maps, here's a link that brings you across the street from the field house to the dormitory:

Two very important points:

Cadet students will not be allowed to leave until they have had their dorm room checked and they have signed out.
Cadet cadre will not be able to leave until all the students have signed out.

I understand a number of you have a lot of driving to do after graduation, but I simply cannot allow cadets to leave until their rooms are clean and they've been officially signed out of encampment. Any cadet student or cadre member that leaves without signing out will not receive encampment credit.

We ask that parents do not come into the dormitory due to the high level of congestion caused by 128 people all running around trying to get the building cleaned up for inspection by the Army.

BASE ACCESS
We have coordinated with the Army so that all families will be allowed onto the base without obtaining a special pass or paperwork. Simply proceed to the gate and advise the officer that you are a family member of a CAP cadet and are here for the graduation. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the Army and their Chief of Access Control for helping facilitate families attending graduation.
