πŸ”πŸŒ Be honest... you double-click the tongs before firing up the grill, don't you? πŸ‘€

Don't worry, we all do it.

But while that might be your grilling good luck charm, it won't prevent a grill fire if your grill isn't properly cleaned and maintained.

Before cooking your next summer meal, take a few minutes to:
πŸ”₯ Clean grease and food buildup from the grill grates
πŸ”₯ Empty and clean the grease trap
πŸ”₯ Check propane connections for leaks
πŸ”₯ Keep your grill away from decks, siding, and other combustible materials

A clean grill is a safer grill. Spend a few minutes on maintenance today so you can focus on making great memories around the grill tomorrow.

Stay weather aware going into Monday.

All of Illinois remains in a level 3 (enhanced) risk of severe weather on Monday. All severe hazards are possible, including tornadoes and very large hail, though the hail threat will be more focused over western Illinois. There is some uncertainty with the impacts of any rain in the morning, and should that not materialize, the threat level may need to be upgraded. The period from late afternoon through the evening remains the favored time for severe weather.
