📚 Summer Reading Programs & Library Events (through August 15)
Join our free Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults! Participants can earn fun prizes while discovering great books all summer long. Registration is available online through Beanstack.

🎨 Library Face Painting Event
Add color and creativity to your summer! Enjoy face painting at the Library Wednesdays, June 24 - August 12, from 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. in the Children’s Area. Open to all ages and provided by talented local artists. Registration is required.

📚 Leadership Academy – Registration Open
• Applications are open through August 13
• Four-part workshop series designed to give residents an inside look at City government and community initiatives
• Open to Signal Hill residents ages 18 and older (space is limited)
• Register on the City website

🚨 CERT Training Coming Soon
• The Los Angeles County Fire Department will host the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) course in partnership with the Signal Hill Police Department
• Interested participants can complete the interest form on the City website
• Stay tuned for course dates and additional information
