We’re super proud of the 29 Nolan Knights who competed in the CTC Elementary Cross Country Week 1 race at Camp Jordan!

The 5th Grade Girls finished 1st out of 10 scoring teams, and the 3rd Grade Boys finished 6th out of 13 scoring teams.

Seven Nolan runners placed in the top 100 overall out of 696 total runners. Eleven earned top-25 finishes in their grade-level divisions, including five top-10 finishes:

⭐ 3rd Grade Girls: 6th place
⭐ 4th Grade Girls: 2nd place
⭐ 5th Grade Girls: 3rd, 4th, and 5th place

Congratulations to all of our runners on a great start to the season! A big thank you to Mr. Green for the time and encouragement he gives our Nolan XC Students!

Here ye, here ye! Step back in time at a Signal Mountain, kids-focused, Renaissance Festival. All community families are welcome to enjoy bounce houses, midway games, dunk tanks, Bubblemania shows, hearty feast food trucks, selfies with miniature goats dressed as royalty (say no more), and SO MUCH MORE!!!!!

Medieval garb not required, but encouraged.

Our fifth graders had a special visit from Allie Millington, author of Olivetti, during related arts today! Students enjoyed hearing about her journey as an author, learning more about the story, and asking questions about the writing process. What a fun way to bring reading and writing to life for our Knights! 💚📚

***Calling all 3rd–5th grade runners! Nolan Cross Country practice begins Thursday, September 3rd. All interested students are welcome!

**When: Thursdays @ 3:45–4:45 PM
**Where: Students will meet in Ms. Wells’ classroom after school - Pickup will be at the front awning at 4:45PM

Help keep W Road clean and beautiful! 🌿 Join us Sunday, September 13, from 8:00–11:00 AM. All supplies are provided, and volunteer service hours are available. Meet at the 1604 Taft Highway entrance to McCoy Farm & Gardens.
