Please join me in welcoming Lauren Perry Odum to our faculty and staff as our new Assistant Principal!

Lauren brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for students, families, and school communities. She joins us from Normal Park Museum Magnet School, where she has faithfully served as teacher and assistant principal since 2016 making a tremendous impact.

Lauren and her family are already a special part of the Signal Mountain community. Her two boys currently attend SMMHS and are rising 7th and 9th graders, and her youngest will begin kindergarten at Nolan this fall. As both an educator and parent, she understands the heart of our school community and the importance of building strong relationships with students and families.

Lauren shared that she is overjoyed to join our faculty and staff, and we are equally excited to welcome her to this new role. We cannot wait to see the positive impact she will make on our students, staff, and families.

Today we celebrate Lindie G Roden and her appointment as Principal of Cloud Springs Elementary!

For the past four years, Lindie has faithfully served Nolan as Assistant Principal, after years of investing in Nolan students and teachers as both an instructional coach and classroom teacher. Her leadership has always been rooted in relationships, compassion, hard work, and an unwavering belief in children and educators.

While we are incredibly proud of her and know she will do amazing things in this new role, she will be deeply missed by our Nolan family. Her impact on our school, staff, students, and community is lasting and meaningful.

Our Nolan Knights had an absolute blast at Field Day! From epic tug of war battles and exciting relay races to cooling off with Kona Ice, the day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and school spirit. So thankful for the memories made and the joy shared as we close out another amazing school year!

Congratulations to Nolan Students Competing in the National Perennial Math Competition!
🧮 Nolan’s 5th grade team placed 5th in the Nation! 🎉Congratulations to Zane Ryder for placing 16th individually out of 136 students!
🧮 Our 4th grade teams also had an outstanding showing, placing 10th and 16th out of more than 60 teams, even while overcoming a computer glitch during the competition. Their teamwork, perseverance, and collaboration were impressive to watch! Congratulations to Drew Giles for placing 19th individually out of more than 160 students competing!
💚We are so proud of our Knights and thankful for the hard work of our students, coaches, and families. The Perennial Math Team continues to make Nolan shine! Thank you to Nolan’s coaches: Jamie Brock and Robin Priest! 💚💚
