A handicap accessible playground means a child using a wheelchair can reach the top of the slide. It means a parent doesn’t have to lift their child onto equipment not designed for them. It means siblings can play together instead of apart.
Accessibility isn’t about special treatment — it’s about equal opportunity to experience joy, friendship, and independence.
The Dahlia Playground will ensure that every child in Signal Mountain has access to play, not just some.
