BIDS REQUESTED FOR SNOW REMOVAL
The City of Sigourney will be accepting bids for the removal of snow from the sidewalks on the north and east sides of Memorial Hall, south and east sides of City Hall, north and west sides of Town Square Park, south and west sides of the City Shop on East Walnut Street and store front on East Marion Street All sealed bids must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the City Clerk’s Office, 100 North Main Street, Sigourney, Iowa.
Interested parties will be responsible for snow and ice removal from the sidewalks as well as all the steps into Memorial Hall. The snow and ice must be removed in a timely manner and according to the City Code of Ordinances. The successful bidder will be responsible to purchase ice melt (the city will reimburse expenses) and provide any equipment used. Proof of liability insurance will be required. You may review a copy of the contract by contacting the City Clerk at City Hall.
