⚠️ Please Be Patient During Storm Cleanup

Public Works and Public Safety crews have been working hard to clear roads and restore safe access throughout town. In some locations, crews must temporarily cut and move fallen limbs and debris to the side of the road so the roadway can be reopened as quickly as possible.

This is only a temporary step—not the completion of the cleanup. Crews will return beginning Tuesday to collect and properly remove the remaining debris.

Please be patient and courteous while our employees continue this important work. Their immediate priority is keeping roads open and our community safe. We sincerely appreciate their hard work and the community’s cooperation.

Town of Siler City Closure Notice

September 7, 2026

In observance of Labor Day September 7, 2026, Town of Siler City offices and facilities will be closed on Monday September 7, 2026.

🏛️ Please plan ahead for any in-person business at Town Hall.

💻 Online services will remain available throughout the holiday.

📞 For non-emergency assistance from the Siler City Police Department, please call 919-742-5626 and request to speak with an officer.

🚛 BULK & YARD WASTE COLLECTION UPDATE 🍂

Both of our boom trucks are back from repairs, and bulk and yard waste collection will return to the regular schedule beginning Monday, August 31!

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while our trucks were being repaired and during the temporary delays.
