Attention Residents:

As you begin your spring cleaning, please remember that it is against city code to rake leaves, grass, or other debris into the streets. This can clog storm drains and cause damage to city equipment.

Thank you for helping keep our community clean and safe!

On 4/13/2026 the City of Silver Bay’s sanitary sewer had a surcharge due to a blockage on Outer Drive between Law Drive and Evans Circle. The MPCA has been notified, due to the overflow of sewage on to Outer Dive that flows into the city’s storm system. City crews have cleared the blockage and will be cleaning up debris. There is no known impact to the City’s drinking water system.

Silver Bay Police Department Announcement

The Silver Bay Police Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to Seagren's Powersports Sales & Service and Kawasaki for providing us with a new Teryx4 side-by-side vehicle through a generous lease agreement.

This 11-month lease comes at no cost to the taxpayers of the City of Silver Bay. It is part of a promotional program by Kawasaki, aimed at supporting first responders with the equipment they need to assist in emergency situations.

The Police Department plans to use this vehicle for rescue operations and medical emergencies that may arise within our community—particularly in our beautiful backcountry areas, ATV trails, hiking paths, and during community events.

Once again, a big thank you to Seagren's Powersports for their support of public safety in Silver Bay!
