Welcome to Kellogg Heritage Tours

This page is the beginning of something I’ve been building with care—a place to share local history, stories, and heritage experiences throughout Forsyth County, Georgia.
Right now, everything is still in progress as I develop tours, routes, and future experiences. T-shirts and other offerings will also be added over time.
I’ve also connected with local historical resources to help ensure the information shared is accurate and thoughtfully preserved.
While heritage and local history are at the heart of this, my goal is to keep this space open to storytelling in many forms—past and present—because every place and every story has meaning.
If you love history, family roots, or simply discovering the stories behind the places around you, I invite you to follow along as this journey grows.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning.

Last night I took my own tour.
Armed with notes, photos, and a lifetime of local stories, I walked the route alongside two volunteers to see how everything would flow.
What did I learn?
I have way too much history to fit into one tour!
What I expected to be a one-hour walk quickly stretched to an hour and a half as stories, memories, photographs, and local connections unfolded at nearly every stop. Still not using all I had on hand.
That realization helped shape the future of Kellogg Heritage Tours.
The Then & Now Heritage TourA one-hour walking tour highlighting the people, places, and events that helped shape Cu***ng and Forsyth County.
The Hidden Heritage TourA deeper dive for history lovers who want more stories, more connections, and more forgotten pieces of our local past. Approximately 1.5–2 hours.
The Lantern TourAn evening experience featuring local folklore, mysterious happenings, murder mysteries, legends, and a few spine-tingling stories passed down through generations—including some I first heard from my mother as a child.
Every courthouse square, road, cemetery, and old building seems to have a story waiting to be told.
And trust me... I've barely scratched the surface.
Soft launch details coming soon.
